Little kids tend to think in terms of lines and outlining when they draw.
These cats are made mostly from triangles. Looking for basic shapes in things is one way that artists "see" the world.
I saw a triangle cat image online and thought it would make a good lesson for my students and help them to start thinking in shapes when they paint and forms when they sculpt.
