This year we held a fundraiser in order to pay for our clay order. It was a huge success. The kids created drawings of animals which we submitted to the Square 1 Art company. The turned each kid's drawing into 20 free stickers. On the day the kids got their stickers they also got an order form. Square 1 art prints the kids' art work onto a variety of items such as bags, mugs, t-shirts, jewelry, trinket boxes and flags, etc.
Before Christmas the items the kids purchased with their art on it will arrive at school.
On the day the kids got their stickers, I gave them a little class time to trade some of their stickers with their friends. They had a blast trading and sharing their art work with their buddies.
I'm not a big fan of fundraisers, but what I like about this one is that the kids get free stickers and they have a chance to have their art printed onto items they have and use at home. Lastly, it helped us to pay for all of our clay this year, so it ended up being a win-win-win for everybody.
